The Ursuline Guest House Bed & Breakfast Rooms
Room 1 – This room is on the first floor and opens directly onto the courtyard from the main house — the room closest to the hot tub! The décor of this room is music themed, with a ukulele resting on the mantel and a guitar displayed in the alcove above. Room 1 has a king-size bed and a tub/shower combination for a lingering soak or a quick rinse to guarantee your relaxation.
Room 2 –On
the ground floor of the main house on the courtyard, Room 2 has one king-size
bed, private bath with shower, a dining table and a kitchenette with
microwave, mini refrigerator, and a coffee pot. Room 2 is decorated with
the owner’s treasures from the orient. It can be adjoined to Room 15, or to both Room 15 and Room 16.
Room 3 – One of our "coziest" rooms is on the second floor of the main house with a view of the courtyard. Room 3 is the perfect escape for the adventursome spirit, eager for a quick shower before heading into the unknown thrills just outside the guest house! The full-size antique brass bed ensures a dream-inspired sleep or a quick afternoon nap.
Room 4 – On the second floor of the main house, Room 4 has dormer windows that look below to Ursuline Avenue. With 2 full-size beds, and a step-in shower, this room is great for a family of three or four or a group of friends here for a good time!
Room 5 – On the second floor of the main house, overlooking Ursulines Avenue, is Room 5. It has a comfortable queen-size bed, a step-in shower, and ample space for your belongings. It is decorated in calming neutral tones and is a great room to just relax.
Room 6 – On the second floor of the main house, soft pastel plaster walls present Room 6 with its view of Ursuline Street. This is the perfect spot for a family or group of friends, with two full-size beds and a step-in shower.
Room 6B –
A hostel-style bunk room with 2 platform bunk beds. The room also
has a TV and its own small bathroom with a shower. The room itself is very
compact and is best suited for students or backpackers traveling alone,
or children traveling with their parents. It can be rented alone or as
supplement to Room 6. This room is not recommended for anyone who would
have trouble climbing into the loft bed or anyone who may be claustrophobic; this room is simply a place to sleep and shower after a day or
night out on the town.
Room 7 – Just off the quiet courtyard on the first floor of the historic slave quarters is Room 7. It has two full-size beds and a step-in shower.
Located right next to the charming little fish pond, the
sound of trickling water will lull you right to sleep.
Room 8 – In the historic slave quarters, on the first floor opening onto the courtyard is the romantic hideaway Room 8. With its
contemporarily neutral plaster walls, traditional queen-sized bedding and a step-in shower, it is a perfect mix of old and new.
Room 9 –On the first floor of the former slave quarters, Room 9 opens onto the courtyard right next to the hot tub. It is charmingly decorated in earth tones and pastels with a queen-sized bed and step in shower.
Room 10 – This second floor room in the original, historic slave quarters has been redecorated in neutral tones with beautiful green faux wrought iron headboards painted onto the wall above each of the two full-sized beds. Its balcony overlooks the courtyard.
Room 11 –This seaside themed room has a queen-size bed and a step-in shower gets you in and out for the excitement of New Orleans. Located on the second floor of the former slave quarters, you have a bird’s-eye view of the intimate courtyard below.
Room 12 –
On the second floor of the former slave quarters this comfortable room is
colored in earthy reds, terra cotta, and chocolate brown.
Room 14 –
Room 14 has queen-sized bed, bathtub and shower, small refrigerator,
microwave, and coffee maker with a flat screen TV / DVD player. It opens directly
onto Ursuline Avenue, with full access to the courtyard and
breakfast kitchen.
Room 15 –
One of our budget queen rooms, Room 15 is tucked away in the main house behind the guest kitchen. This is a large room with a shower, a queen bed and a futon. It
can be adjoined to Room 16 or Room 2 or both.
Room 16 – Another of our budget queen rooms. This is a street-side room with a tub/hand-held shower, a queen-size sleeping area in the loft and cozy sitting area with love seat. It
can be adjoined to room 15 or to both room 15 and room 2. (This room is not recommended for anyone who would have trouble climbing into the loft bed.)
Adjoining Rooms
Please note that each adjoining room is still rented at its regular rate.
Adjoining Rooms 2 and 15 – 2 Bedroom, 2 bath with a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. It has a king-size bed and a dining table in the master bedroom, plus a queen-size bed and a futon in the second bedroom.
Adjoining Rooms 15 and 16 – 2 bedrooms 2 baths 2 queen beds plus a futon. Room 16 has a queen-size sleeping area in the loft, with tub and hand-held shower. Room 15 has a queen bed plus a futon, and a shower.
Adjoining rooms 2, 15, and 16 – 3 bedrooms 3 baths with a private kitchenette. This option includes 1 king bed, a dining table and a shower; 1 queen bed with shower; and 1 queen loft sleeping area with a tub/hand-held shower.
